Grateful for the presence of police at recent protest

I would like to express my appreciation for the law enforcement presence across the street from the courthouse at last Saturday's demonstration against a wide variety of Trump/Musk policies and actions. The police officers were unobtrusive but present. They helped make the event safe from those who may have wanted to use threats of violence to disrupt our lawful and patriotic right of assembly. Not shocked by caustic acts of commissioners
My family moved here in 1979. Other than being gone 10 years with the Army, I have lived here the entire time. And I have seen bipartisanship disappear and the Republican Party dismantle this town. It's disgusting. Read More »

Pehrson would be great addition to school board
I am writing this letter in support of Quin Pehrson who is a candidate for Grants Pass District 7 School Board. Quin is highly qualified. She serves as the executive director of the Redwood Foundation for Education and has and continues to serve on the District 7 Budget Committee. She is a lifelong member of the community and attended Grants Pass District 7 schools prior to a successful college career.
